The Collegiate Church of St Paul’s Shipwreck, Valletta
This set of eighteenth century chandeliers showed signs of fatigue, requiring a full restoration. The need for an urgent restoration intensified when one of the chandeliers was extensively damaged when it detached itself and dropped to the floor. Restoration works have now been completed on two of the chandeliers in the church’s aisle.
Sacristy Chandelier
The chandelier adorning the sacristy was heavily damaged and also required urgent restoration. The full restoration involved a complete dismantling and cleaning of all crystal pieces. The core of the chandelier was replaced and the chandelier re-constructed by hand, and rewired.
